Frontispiece
Mu’s working on the Frontispiece illustration at the moment (what’s there at present is just a placeholder).
The Frontispiece to a book is a term that has fallen from favour in these days of electrickery. It was a ‘decorative illustration’ that appeared inside the book next to the title page (preceeding it). It was always on the left side or ‘verso’ as they used to call it (I love this stuff!) and was used in ‘scholarly’ books – perfect! [Thanks Wikipedia].
I’m including some frontispiece links found from a cursory glance aroud the internet but there must be millions more

- Phiz
